Brandywine Bassmasters is a TBF and FLW affiliated bass club based in Downingtown, PA.  Since our founding in 1996, we have grown to over 30 members.  Strong conservation and ethics principles guide our club, as we learn to become better bass anglers and contribute to the future of our sport.

2009 Club News:

October 2, 2009 - MARK YOUR CALENDARS! BBM's annual "Last Chance Open" tournament on the Northeast River has been scheduled for Sunday, November 22. Applications will soon be available. The Upper Bay fishing in November has been "on fire" these past few years, so don't miss it.

September 27, 2009 - Bear Minnick wins the club tournament at Long Level. Finishing 2nd and 3rd were Bruce and Marty. Click here for the results. This win puts Bear within a few points of the overal lead, chris Grow, for Angler of the Year. Click here for the 2009 current standings.

August 27, 2009 - Stacey Smith takes a commanding lead in the club standings. Climbing into the top five are Grow, Sabbi, Donnelly and Hilbert. Click here for the standings.

August 16, 2009 - Ed Kay wins at the Sassafras! Ed only brought 3 fish to the scales, but with a lunker weighing 6.20 lbs in his bag, it was enough to win this club tournament with 13.31. Finishing 2nd and 3rd was Chris Grow and Mike Kolachny. Click here for the results.

July 26, 2009 - Congratulations to "Lunker" Larry Moore for winning the PA Bass District 1-3-7 Tournament at Cayuga Lake with a limit of bass weighing 15.15 lbs. "Lunker" Larry also had the lunker of the tournament which weighed 5.18 lbs. Great job Larry! Congratulations also to the other Brandywine members who represented the club in this tournament. June 28, 2009 - The BBM Lake Onieda Club tournament proved to be a great one with most anglers catching a limit of bass. Click here for the results. This tournament has shuffled the current standings a bit, with many ties. Stacy Smith is now is in 1st place. Click here for the Current Standings.

June 27, 2009 - Brandywine finishes in third place (less than one fish out of second!) at the PA Regional Team Tournament on Lake Onieda. Congratulations to the BBM anglers who fished on the team and turned in a great performance. Click here for the results.

May 17, 2009 - Ed Donnelly wins tough Northeast River tournament with 2 bass weighing 6.56. Chris Grow brings in lunker at 5.75 lbs. Nice fish, guys. Check out the rest of the results here.

February 1, 2009 - Congratulations to our new members. This year promises to as fun and challenging as any other. BBM is looking forward to another great season with lots of bass fishing action.

March 1, 2009 - Brandywine's annual "Cabin Fever" open tournament will be held on Marsh Creek lake on March 29th. Make sure you get a slot in this tournament, 'cause that's BIG FISH time at The Marsh. Click here for a print and mail application.

March 14, 15 - Don't forget the Annual District 3 Fishing Flea Market. Lots of great deals can be found at the flea market on all types of fishing and boating gear. Spring fishing is only a few weeks a way. BBM volunteers would be appreciated.

March 29, 2009 - Brandywine's Cabin Fever Open Tournament was a big success despite the weather. BBM would like to thank everyone who fished this event. April 5, 2009 - Congratulations to Grow, Noel and Smith for finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Brandywine's Marsh Creek club tournament. Click here for the results.
